Federal Broach and Machine manufactures various forms of gear shaper tools and cutters such as non-topping, semi-topping, topping, finishing, roughing, as well as pre-shaving and pre-grinding tools. We offer a complete range of shaper cutters with or without protuberance, including both spur-type and helical-type gear shapers.

Our full selection of gear shaper equipment includes relief ground shaper cutters for involute splines, worms (cutter to be used in a hobbing machine by kinematics inversion process) and relief machined cutters for sprocket, parallel sided splines.

Our range of shaper cutters available includes different varieties of disc type, hub type and shank type. Tandem shaper cutters are also available.
